Meet Our team
Our team comprises videography experts, including directors, cinematographers, editors, and animators with over 100 years of combined experience. Renowned for our friendly, can-do attitude and professionalism, Red Empire is proud to offer an unparalleled experience in timelapse and hyperlapse.
Beginning his career in Audio Engineering, Jeremy moved into the film industry and founded the parent company Red Empire Media with Bernard in 2006. Jeremy’s expertise also extends to spatial systems, databasing, and programming.
Bernard is a company director and owner of Red Empire Media and Red Empire Timelapse. With a Bachelor of Arts (Multimedia), Bernard has been filming tourism, live television, and mining videos around Australia for over 20 years.
Pedro brings years of experience in the timelapse industry to the Red Empire team. He has worked as a senior producer for over 15 years and is a highly skilled editor, animator, and cinematographer. He loves connecting with people and making them shine in front of the camera.
Natalie began her career in Architectural Design, drawing homes for some of Perth’s most prominent builders for over ten years. She has since moved into Graphic Design, creating illustrations, logos, brand building, and style guides, and continues to further her studies in this field.
Working in Graphic Design and Post Production since 2008, Lua Marinho works across several functions within production, having design skills as an illustrator, director and editor, along with exceptional 2D animation skills.
Gib has been a Graphic Designer for almost 3 decades now and navigated through uncharted waters to become a video producer/editor and 2D animator in the past 6 years. He also plays bass in a funk band with Pedro.
Richard joined Red Empire in 2015 after gaining advertising experience while living and working in Kuala Lumpur until 2008. He has since worked on a vast range of corporate, safety training, and promotional videos and recently wrote and directed his own feature film.
Clara holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Business Administration and has worked for over ten years in finance, accounting and administration. When Clara is not busy counting numbers, she can be found swimming in the ocean or hiking up a mountain!
